I would just like to say to anyone considering having
professional paint work done that Dave and his team is the
right choice.
David and his crew recently pressure washed the entire
exterior of my home and stained my decks. They did an
impeccable job and it looks great!!! I can’t thank them
enough and encourage you enough to select them for your
painting needs. The “guys” are polite, courteous and show
respect for the customers and the customer’s property alike.
We have done some extensive landscaping this summer and when
they were finished, you could not tell they had even been
there. There preparation was flawless and their execution was
the same. There is no mess, damage or overspray to be found.
I am not easy to please and my expectations are always
extremely high. David and his team exceeded my
expectations and pleased us greatly. They did a super job
and we really appreciate them for their time, consideration
and efforts. We will be asking them to do more work for us in
the future. Please feel free to contact me with any questions
you may have. Once again, I recommend David for any painting
needs you may have.

We would like to
highly recommend DAVID BURLETT Painting Company (828-243-4944)
for any house power washing and painting. He is insured and
has over 30 years experience.
Dave just completed (4-16-08) painting the exterior of our
home which is cedar and stucco and we are very pleased ! !
His painters were very concerned with "details"....removing
lights, etc., full caulking prior, draping floors, attention
to door frames and most pleasant in their work.
His prices are competitive and reasonable. Dave's attitude is
"to please his customers", be it choice of color
selection, quality of painting....anything to make his
customers happy with the painting job.
He also does indoor painting.
He will certainly be our painter of choice for all future
painting needs.

Speaking against the negativity

To The Editor: The majority of letters to the editor lean
toward the negative which is normal. Most of us only speak up
when something is wrong. I certainly lean this way.
In order to amend my ways (temporarily) I’d like to list a few
of the businesses/people in Hendersonville that have always
met or exceeded my expectations.
Charles Waters is a great attorney. Dr. Robert Murphy is a
dedicated, hard working primary care physician. F&R Auto
Repair is an honest and competent family run business. I was
very impressed with First Gear Transmission on Seventh Ave.
Dave Burlett Painting
provides the best work I’ve ever seen at fair prices.
The El Paso II, Mustang, and Lon Sen’s restaurants
provide good consistent food for us regular people. Williams
and Sons Hardware gives personal service you can’t get at the
big box stores. Dwayne Scholtz is a great finish carpenter.
Wile Transfer and storage has always provided prompt service.
Unfortunately most Americans tend to expect and accept
mediocre products and services. Because of our failure to
speak out and act we perpetuate mediocrity and punish those
who attempt to provide excellence.
It felt good to tell these folks how much I appreciate them.
